If you hear a voice within you say 'you cannot paint,' then by all means paint, and that voice will be silenced.
Vincent Van Gogh

Students studied the works of Goergia O'Keefe. The focus was on her unique compostions of flowers and found objects. Georgia O'keefe is best know for her close-up paintings of flowers which become abstract compositions and moe away from traditional representational art. Students in this class did hyper close-up drawings of stuill life objects, then colorized using pastels.

Students learn the basic skills involved with using pastels. They learn how to create different textures, visual  effects and how to blend and modulate color.
